Best patio in downtown Edmonton. It’s on the north side of Jasper getting plenty of sun, it also has shade from trees and umbrellas. Really friendly and efficient staff. The happy hour is fantastic – offers on rotating beers, wine, and $5 wings.The Zucchini Fritters are amazing, and the burgers are great. The Crab Cakes are overly cheesy (not that everyone would think this is bad) and the Pig Nuts are disappointing.Overall, I strongly recommend heading over here after work, and staying longer if you like it.

Went here tonight for the very first time with my best friend for a quick late night dinner. Arrived around 8 pm found a table we were serviced immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and bubbly ! The overall look of the place was lovely the decor was warm and friendly loved the lighting inside that was my personal favourite. My friend ordered the crab cakes I got the quesadilla with side salad. Prices were cheap. Food was good decent sized portions. Overall I’ll be back for sure great place to come for food and drinks with friends on a nice night. Will be back soon with my boyfriend.
The decor was nice and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio but my sister and I ended up getting food poisoning. Needless to say we definitely won’t be going back or recommend anyone going there.
Ordered their special – seafood pasta, as well as a salad and chicken wings. Seafood special had frozen muscles, literally still in ice, with uncooked shrimp, so just sent it back. Salad had literally rotten bocconcinicheese, and a putrid flavor overall for the lettuce, something was amiss… sent it back.Ate the wings with great paranoia, alas no issues, seemed cooked through, but was terribly bland, no flavor other then chicken (its breaded, and their is no seasoning in the breading…). Having said this, I am writing this following the ‘meal’ and I am already having some stomach troubles, may just be mind tricks though…Server was friendly, but food took forever, which didn’t make sense since it was undercooked (at least seafood). Server compd’ us for the meal, which was nice. Place has a nice atmosphere, but unless the menu & foodchange, I can not see it surviving…
Flew in from Vancouver for Christmas. Stuck in downtown and nowhere to eat. Found this spot and decided to give it a go. Had a bowl of amazing chilli and a Portobello sandwich that rivals many in Vancouver. I had to order another portion of their side. Apparently its made in house. Fresh chips like kettle chips. Wow. Wow. Now I’m shocked the reviews are bad, so I had to ask was there management change? Change in chef? Turns out original chef unfortunately passed away when they first opened and had difficulty landing a top end chef. And now they have. Chef Simon. Hopefully he keeps busting out dishes like I’ve had today. Good luck and I’ll def be back for dinner before I fly out.
