Outstanding meal!! Im in town for one night only and decided to treat myself to something new. After reading many reviews (thanks for the great app) I chose this restaurant and was not disappointed. The ambiance was warm and inviting and full of happy patrons. The menu has changed from that on the app; the entre I chose consisted of prawns and a lamb loin, both were grilled to perfection! The entire plate was well seasoned and arrived piping hot. My server was friendly and attentive. I will definitely return on my next visit.
HOLY TURKISH DELIGHT!!!! Without a doubt, one of the BEST restaurant meals i (we) have had in years! We started with their appetizer platter, which could have been enough for normal folk! The flavours from this dish alone were diverse. We also had to try some of their yogurt red pepper dip….onward….Mrs. tried one of their pizzas and i had the lamb casserole, despite the temptation to try the big combo platter, which was huge on the table next to us….anyway….the pizza was killer good and the lamb casserole was heavenly as were the sides of bulgar pilaf and green salad! Granted, this place is more expensive than we are accustomed to, but well worth the price! The lady serving was excellent and very attentive ! We will definitely do this again, perhaps with another couple. SO MUCH GOOD FOOD!!!!
Amazing turkish restaurant tucked away near Grant MacEwan. Stmbled upon Sofra on Thursday night and decided to give it a try. It was absolutely amazing. The food was suprising good and everything was so fresh.
Absolutely incredible food and great service. Not a cheap meal – but you get more than what you pay for. If you and your date are okay with around $100 for the food bill you can experience a number of outstanding dishes and leave over stuffed and very happy. No kids allowed, so keep that in mind (for better or worse).Sofra is definitely one of Edmonton’s best.
Best in the city! The best in the city. Fresh pita..yumm.great service! The sultan a must try. Prices are great. And the the wine cellar great place to relax
Amazing amazing food. Get The Sultan’s platter. You won’t be disappointed. The stuffed apricots are to die for. The dips are great. You will leave smelling of garlic in the best way possible
Have had better food and service! The food was OK, but the portions were ridiculously small for the price. The hummus was delicious since it comes with a flat baked type of pita bread that they make fresh, only downside is that they don’t give you that much bread and it’s five dollars for every other tiny serving of it
