Quite possibly the best meal I’ve every had. Each dish was the equivalent of another restaurant’s signature plate. The wine pairing was indescribably good. I will definitely be going back and can recommend others to give this gem a try without hesitation. The owner served us and we had a wonderful evening.

Just got back from another great experience. We elected to let owner and host Glen pick the wine and food for the night. I did demand that the lamb meatballs be included… they are excellent. All of the dishes we were served were simply outstanding. The bison flat iron steak was the standout. Melt in the mouth delicious. I am not much of a dessert guy, but to finish, we were served a dark chocolate torte; it was perfectly executed. As usual, Glen made the night special and made us feel welcome.

Tzin is a small place with great atmosphere. When I went I was in cast and crutches. It was hard to move around but the manager was great and bent over backwards to help me. Our group of 3 let the manager put together a tasting menu. After asking about preference and appetite the first dish came out quickly. We got the tuna and the first bite was amazing. We had enough time to savor each dish before the next one came out and they were all delicious. At the end of the night we all chose our favorite and everyone had chosen a different dish which goes to show that Tzin is not a one trick pony and the quality and skill shines through in every dish. For the record mine was the paella. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The price is expensive but you definitely get what you paid for.

Very nice classy enviroment, small menu and pricy but you pay for quality. Very fresh and well cooked food. We had the bacon which i recommend, one of the best things if not the best thing ive ever tasted in edmonton. Thick cut juicy perfectly cooked bacon ontop of a crispy bread and some kind of maple syrup.

Where to start, all the food here was pretty good but actually quite forgettable, nothing really stood out. Lets start with the Bacon which comprised of maple balsamic apple compote, apple mayonnaise, crostini, calvados gastrique. Probably the best tasting thing here because, well, bacon. The fish dish was cod? I dont know, it was ok but not great. The paella was not bad and was devoured pretty good. The paella had piri piri marinated shrimp, sauteed mushrooms, piperade, gremolata aioli all on top of saffron rice. Aioli on this was really good, aioli in general is really tasty. The size of this dish is made for 2 but i found it quite small and didnt meet its 36 dollar price point. Not pictured here is the Caldereta de pescado. It was red snapper & shrimp poached in lobster broth, potatoes, calamari rings, clams, tomato & white wine broth, TZiN Bay crme fraiche. This was one of the better dishes but tasted more like just the white wine and nothing else and it was also pretty small at 27 bucks. We had a couple other dishes but they were so forgettable that its not worth mentioning.Located in a dark closet on 104, this place is easy to miss. This place is actually really small, sits probably 20 max people. If you go here youre essentially paying quite a bit of money to eat in a dark closet. This place is a good place to impress a date or just feel good about coughing up dough for mediocre food.Sal says: Just try [email protected] says: progression of the tasting menu was not ideal. Would go back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

LoveLoveLove it here! The tapas are absolutely delicious and the wine list is great. I love showing up and having the chefs prepare a tasting menu while Glenn finds the perfect wine pairing for the dish. Always a favorite

Came here for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night, and everything was amazing. We had the feed me choice on the menu, which is great for those who aren’t picky! Service was amazing and they were knowledgeable. The restaurant it self is tinny and there’s not much privacy; you are sitting so close to the next table. Keep in mind the quality of food and atmosphere makes up for it! I would recommend this place to anyone!
