Quite honestly the smallest space ever, forewarning on their website to make a reservation if youre wanting to visit. With 7 tables all together and a few bar seats in the back, the word tight is an understatement. Intimate at best, with the entrance being only a few steps from the open kitchen; The whole room gets to goggle at how amazing such a small space is able to deliver such amazing food. Subdued lighting with their iconic red walls, crowded with aged wood furniture and most importantly the portable heater beside the door – Interior is rustic chic with all the focus on the food and mood.Service was extremely homey with both servers jumping from table to table making sure everyone was being catered to. Menu is quite small and dishes are meant to be shared, a higher price tag for each plate comparing it to most casual dining establishments except they take great pride in providing quality and consistency with each dish. I loved both dishes we got to try this visit and wont hesitate to come back, Tzin is definitely worth that extra binge! Chicken and Waffles – ($18.00) – 5/5 -The American classic dish with a spanish twist, this dish has the savory aspect that makes you reevaluate what you think you know how chicken and waffles are suppose to taste. Thick sliced cornbread waffles arrived steaming hot on a plate with tender juicy bites of chicken thighs and peppers, each bite is a party in your mouth. The creme fraiche is addictive.Chicken Sausage and Shrimp Paella – ($37.75) – 5/5 – First thing that needs to be mentioned is how amazing the chicken sausage tasted, the next thing that tied the whole dish together was lemon aioli. **There is a 2 hour dining time, considering how limited seatings are its stated on the menu to make sure you dont go over your dining time to overlap with someone elses reservation!
