DO not go on a hot day. absolutely no circulation thought we were going to die.Went for the Black Truffle Eggs, but unfortunately no truffle on hand again. We had the Beef Tartar and some items off the Charcuterie along with a bottle of bubbles and a great bottle or wine. The menu changes frequently as items are available. I will definatly go back. Its a small space but a great room.
Bar Von Der Fels is a place to go and try new varieties of wine; it’s a great little space with knowledgable, professional service that focuses on fantastic wines and liquor, with some tasty food as well.The wine selection is extensive and there are at least a dozen available by the glass. The food is high quality and well prepared, and that shows in the cost, which some would call expensive given the smaller portions. Don’t arrive here hungry; the flavours are delicious and interesting but they will not fill your belly. These are nibbles to complement the wine, which is the primary focus here. The menu changes regularly so every visit can be a new taste adventure!We will be back again to make BVDF a great start to the night.
