This is absolutely one of my favourite lunch spots in downtown Calgary! The med salad is unbelievable (and trust me, it’s not just some boring salad!). The service is consistently very fast, and everyone I have ever dealt with has been unbelievably friendly. Must-have!
This place has some interesting sandwiches. The flavours work really well and generally a great sub. My biggest complaint is the bread is a bit to hard and I find it sometimes cuts the roof of my mouth. Slightly overpriced as well.
Delicious!! Super fresh. Best bacon ever. Great service. Will be back over and over and over again. Had the daily special a BLT with avocado. Highly recommend.
I wasn’t overly impressed. I felt the sous vide beef sandwich lacked flavor and the price/value just isn’t there. I didn’t hate it but I wouldn’t walk the blocks to go back as I do to other places.
This sandwich specialty shop is located in bow valley square, and one of my favourite cafe options. Their ingredients have always been fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully. My favourite options actually tend to be the market specials, which frequently change. The last sandwich I tried was a bacon avocado one, which was by far my personal favourite, and one that I hope to see on the regular menu! The bacon was generous in size, and cooked to perfection with a beautiful glaze on top that just made it seem like it was melting in your mouth. The strong flavour of meat was balanced well with the texture of fresh avocados and the butcher’s aioli. Definitely a must try!
This place is definitely overrated and overpriced. The food isn’t anything extra special and oh, these sandwiches get really messy to eat so make sure you ask for extra napkins
Delicious sandwiches! Enjoying the pork belly right now-it’s just a little storefront(right next to Township Bar and Grill) in Bow Valley Square so it might be easy to miss-the bread is amazing; don’t miss their breakfast sandwiches only served until 10AM! bighairandhighheels.com
