I went earlier in the morning when all the salads were just freshly made and all prettily lined up. Being a vegetarian, it’s difficult to find food options while travelling and was ecstatic to find a salad place. The lady working behind the counter was super friendly and helpful especially since I was indecisive on my salad choices.I got the soup and two salad combo ($7.99) with the harvest vegetable soup, mango salad, and three bean salad. Compared to what I was expecting, the portion sizes were huge for the salads. The soup tasted like a canned soup which I didn’t like. The mango salad was delicious and tangy with a couple tomato slices. The bean salad was flavourful, but a little too rich for my tastes.Overall, a pretty good option for a quick, filling, somewhat healthy lunch.

Cultures: bland food. Review for Cultures. I spent a little over $13 for the chicken panini with side salads and mango smoothie. With the panini- it’s the bread and added chicken strips inside. Basically the customer picks the rest of what does inside. The chicken strips were dry and bland. I did not enjoy the sandwich but it did not taste awful. There were 2 choices for side salads. I chose a bean one (it was okay) & the potatoe one. The potatoes were covered in mayo and were bland & were in big chunks. It makes eating it abit awkward. I only had a few bites and found it kind of gross with the mayo blandness. The smoothie I was expected fresh fruit smoothie. It tasted like a frozen yogurt drink….didn’t enjoy that much. I should have asked if it was a fresh fruit puree smoothie. I felt it really wasn’t my money’s worth and ended up not eating it all. Such a bland food experience there. I don’t think the food was prepared to the best quality. Maybe it’s because i’ve tasted better paninis, smoothies and tastier potatoe salads before.

Nice lite lunch, delicious food, but tiny portions. Note, this review is for Cultures only.Cultures is definitely not my kind of place, but after passing by this establishment many times, I decided that to give it a go.I ordered the chicken wrap, it came with your choice of 2 sides. The girl behind the counter was friendly, and I received my food in a very short period of time. The wrap wasn’t bad at all, I liked how she toasted the wrap, the grill press was cranked up high so the grill marks were very dominant, and it left a slight burnt taste (good !), so I really enjoyed the wrap. The 2 sides that I picked was potato salad and pasta salad. The potato salad was incredibly creamy, and the potatoes were done right, the pasta salad was abit underwhelming, nothing very memorable there.I mentioned that Cultures was a lite lunch, due to the fact that the portion size was skimpy. The wrap was ok, but the 2 salads were barely a scoop each, it was more like a sampler size. For the price paid, close to $9, I expected a little more salad as potatoes and pasta isn’t that overly expensive. Not sure if I would go back, I did like the food but I felt it wasn’t worth the price of admission.
