Have been here couple times for the lunch buffet and it’s never been that busy and there are tons of tables. $16.95 All you can eat lunch buffer. Lots of choices for dishes and they are all very good. Don’t waste your time with salad, go for the entree with rice and Naan bread. There is also a small selection of desserts.
The food was average, and even with the Groupon, it was quite expensive. Also, it was really hard to get a hold of the restaurant. We called multiple times to confirm our reservation and left messages, but received no call back. When we did get a hold of the restaurant on the day of our reservation, they said that we couldn’t use the Groupon (which we purchased 5 days before). I then had to speak to a manager just to use a Groupon that I should have no issue using in the first place. This will be the first and last time that I will be dining at this restaurant.
Went across for a quick dinner and was the closest accessible joint. Wish I had not gone there – rather shabby place, almost completely empty (not surprised) and food that was undercooked (atleast the roti was). Best to avoid.
Disappointing. I went to this restaurant in early April 2015. The layout is good as was the service. But the disappointing aspect was the food itself. I had a chicken madras, nan bread and steamed rice. It wasn’t bad but nowhere good enough for the price of the meal. The steamed rice alone was $9! I’m aware how difficult it is to run a restaurant and I appreciate that you would pay more to eat out but these prices were too much. I wouldn’t have minded if the food was good but it wasn’t. The curry itself was reasonably hot but I couldn’t taste the spices that are supposed to be in this dish. The nan bread was dry and burnt around the edge. Most nan breads do have some degree of black around the edges but this was too much. Overall it wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t good enough for the price I paid.
Good non veg food and deserts. I went there for buffet lunch and the food was good. On that day, they had prepared keema matar, butter chicken and tandoorI chicken in the non veg and I found Keema matar best among these 3. There were several items in the deserts as well, so good place for a person with sweet tooth.
Excellent Comfort. My lady and I were there last night and I can tell you we had an amazing time. Our server was attentive and very pleasant. We had the veggie and paneer pakoras both fantastic, then the goan fish curry and malai kofta also both excellent. The food came hot and fresh and the spices in the sauces were perfect. If you want great Indian comfort food try this place out, you won’t be disappointed!
This restaurant recently moved into our location on 9th avenue. I was not impressed. The tandoori salad was gristly, the tandoori chicken was dry and tasteless. The butter chicken tasted like tomato soup, and we were generally unimpressed by the food. The heating system squeaked so loudly we were in and out in 10 minutes. Oh and a cup of tea cost 5 dollars!!!!!!!! The staff were very friendly and efficient to end on a high
