We came here for lunch after shopping in the area. Street parking was plentiful, however we walked over from the core.Partner said i had to try this place, where he frequented quite a bit when he was working in the area. And this guy looooves pizzaWe sat by the window and there where quite a few interesting characters walking by, not the best side of town. The place is quite small, and not fancy, but a hole in the wall. Ordered the michael special pizza and lasagna. Pizza was delicious, however, I noticed the middle of the pie crust bottom got bit soggy by my second slice….I can’t stand soggy pizza but it was so good too!?! (-1). They are quite generous with their cheese too. It’s a very good pie, I’m quite torn. Lasagna was meh (-0.5).
So delicious! I drive into downtown Calgary just for their pizza!!! My fave is the number 19. I have introduced all my family and friends to this place, it truly is a hidden gem!
I was passing through from Kamloops, B.C.I wanted something fast. Their delivery service was quick. I think I only waited 20 minutes. I ordered a medium House Special Pizza. I was surprised I was able to finish it in one sitting. This was one of the best pizza’s that I have ever eaten. AAA
I see they have upped their prices quite a bit as the menu on here is wrong as far as prices go. I went straight to the website and everything is 3-5 dollars more. But it is exceptional pizza and worth a couple extra bucks. I’ve had it at work 2 or 3 times and it’s just as good cold. They certainly don’t skimp.
This tiny restaurant has lots of repeat business because I noticed many customers conversing with the owner like they were friends. The pizza has a thick crust and it’s very, very delicious. The crust is nice and crispy and the cheese stretches for miles when you try to pull the pieces apart. I will definitely be back.
Stopped by here for a late night bite and ordered a small pepperoni and mushroom. The pizza was ready within 10min. At $12.50 (+ tax) the size was fair and the toppings were plentiful. The sauce was a perfect balance of slight tangy tomato and sweetness as well. The pepperoni was the large slices versus the small rounds most use however I grew up eating pizza with the larger cuts of pepperoni so it was right up my alley. The cheese and mushrooms were generously distributed as well. Overall a great pizza for a decent price! Will be back!
Just look at the photos. Nothing but perfection. Only ever have gotten take out but the pizza is always great. I love this style of pizza above any other. I call it Greek style because it seems these places are always owned by Greeks. They know food and know great dough and golden cheese.
