Honestly I don’t know why people would be complaining about the food not being good because there are so many shitty so call Vietnamese restaurant downtown that are more catered to western taste buds and are much more expensive.It’s quite far from my office by the Palliser hotel but I’ve been here SO many times and will keep coming back.
Im always on the hunt for a good peanut satay pho and I had high hopes when I saw it on the menu at Mint Leaves.I ordered the Satay Beef with Rice Noodle Soup (pho bo sate) $9.95-theres only one size of pho bowl so if youre use to ordering the Large somewhere else, I dont know if you would be full as I finished all my noodles at lunch.-although there was a peanut flavor to the broth, I found the flavors to be faint (watered down) and not spicy at all.Staff is friendly seated us right away and gave us water.Dcor is the same as the prior 2 Asian restaurants that were in this location.
