*Update.Changed my review to 1 from 1.5 because they reached out to make this better but never answered that email. Score -.5 for customer service.Changed my review to reflect the current state of this bar downtown. Went for wing night and all the draft on special was sold out (it was 6pm) waitress was trying but had no idea what she was doing. Brought us 2 random orders of wings that we didn’t order. One of the ones we did they were out of. Wings were cooked to death and dry, hardly edible. Although this place has been a place I’ve been going to since they opened. I won’t be back. Just too much inconsistency in the food and not worth the price
Stopped in on Wednesday because this is the only place I know that offers Frog Legs – Wednesdays Special is 45 cents wings and frog legs (in all the same flavors as wings). Good wing flavor options – covers all your basics with a few unique ones like Gangnam Style. The place is your typical pub. The waitress was friendly, brought us our drinks and food. Bathrooms are clean.
Watched the Scotland v England game there yesterday, thanks to all the staff who at the last minute managed to cope with around 25 people after Brewster’s on 11th AV cancelled the day before, service and food was very good, will use this venue again.
Standard pub – got the burger and fries. The fries were pretty big and crispy, and I loved the size of the burger patty. The only thing I didnt like was the bun, which was overwhelmingly big and it fell apart while eating.
Feels like a friendly neighbourhood pub to me! I like the food and the atmosphere, but to be honest, the last couple of times I went, I found the service subpar. Just took what seemed like 20 to 25 minutes before we got our drinks. I understand that sometimes it’s busy, and if food takes a long time that’s understandable, but our drinks should be served quickly – we all need beer at the end of a long day!
Solid downtown pub lunch choice – although in a perennially plagued location on the southwest corner of 4th street and 4th ave SW. Now I’ve only tried one item – the buffalo chicken wrap – but it was well presented with a unique take on a Caesar salad and rang in under $12. Plus did I mention the great beer selection? I will be back FO SHO!
Came here today for breakfast. They had an event going on. They completely ignored us. Took 45 mins for a simple breakfast that they botched. I have been here before for breakfast and I was impressed but they just didn’t garnish the potatoes and my bread was dry and they didn’t even put all the beans on the English breakfast. The server was rude and it was just a gong show. Never coming back here again
