The food was too sweet and overpriced for the quality. I dont mind the portions to be small and elegant, but the taste was not good at all. Tenderloin was so salty it was impossible to eat. Fish was over charred and had a bitter burned aftertaste. We ended up going for Indian food after. Go to Yellow Door bistro if you are in that location, it is next to it.

We then had the ‘large’ plate of roasted duck and coconut rice. The coconut rice tasted more of lime than coconut but still really nice. The food is really good, better then I ever expected for an Asian Fusion restaurant. Service was superb, the server was very knowledgable in the menu. They gave us free dessert because service took longer then usual and the rice didn’t come out quite right the first time with the black cod.
Went here the other week, drinks were okay. Food was just Vietnamese food plated nicely for a 50-100% Markups. Probably will never return.
Such good food with amazing service and deals. The waiters knew there food and the chefs knew how to cook everything to perfection! Would highly recommend for any foodie.
This place is definitely going into my favorites collection for Calgary. We got there in time for happy hour so we started with proseco and oysters. Then we graduated to the duck, pork buns, and octupus. Absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our desserts were the cheesecake and the cocunut Pana cotta. Another hit. Even the service was spectacular.
Happy hour prosecco and oysters? Yes PLEASE! Tucked away in the back of Hotel Arts, Raw Bar is an intimate space with a variety of seating arrangements for you and your party! This time, it was just my friend and I, and after imbibing on too many $5 glasses of prosecco and a couple dozen oysters(try their take on Asian fusion hot sauce-Soooo yummy!) we stumbled out of there ready to take on the weekend! bighairandhighheels.com
