Came by for some drinks on the patio, service was quick and very friendly. The place is a small and cozy Irish pub, clean and surprisingly not busy for a sunny Saturday evening.
Wasn’t busy at all on a weekday night, which was great as I came with a large group. Server and bartender were friendly. Food was standard pub fare (nachos, wings, etc). Tried their poutine at the recommendation of the server and it was good but nothing really unique from a traditional poutine. The pear and camembert flatbread was probably my favorite of the whole spread. The meat flatbread was more like a Mexican pizza (i.e. Taco seasoned ground beef and cheese, I’d steer clear next time. Overall a decent spot to grab a couple drinks and a bite to eat.
Pub night in Calgary. Stella and Mcallen for the table with nachos and rings. Menu is typical pub grub fair with many beers to choose from. Scotch and wine lists are limited. Service is friendly and attentive. Nachos are loaded with toppings just wish they had bin cooked a bit less, almost burnt.
For a pub, this is a great one downtown. We stopped in before a concert for some wings and dessert and they were both delicious. They were also doing cheap Caesars that night. Their menu also offers a section of beers done differently, like my beer picture that had slushy mix on top. Definitely worth stopping here before your next concert or Flames game! The service was great, food was excellent, and it was cheap too.
A great local pub that we often venture to for lunch since it’s so close to my work. I have never had a bad meal here. The Sante fe chicken salad is fantastic. Came here today for yyctacofiesta. They had a pull pork taco with refried beans, mole verde and serrano tequila slaw. It was yummy with a nice kick to it, not too spicy. $5 for 1 or 3 for $14. My friend and I also shared Cabo fish tacos and they were seasoned nicely and fish was juicy. The size of the tacos were a decent size. My friend and I shared and had 2 tacos each. It was packed for a Friday and had to find a railing seating by the window. Service was extremely slow and took a long time to get someone to come over.
The food is fresh and the staff are friendly and helpful. The good is good, not great, but it is a good spot for a few beers on a Friday lunch or to take a client for lunch.
Our new local! Great place to catch up with friends, have a beer and watch a flames game. Decent length beer list, and try a side of suicide sauce with your wings… if you dare. Food can seem a bit pricy, but there are specials every night of the week, so try them out. Will be coming back regularly here.
