Ate there for the first & last time. The bun was stale & the lettuce soggy. Whatever happened to fresh food?
Very Poor Example. I haven’t tried Subway in many years because I didn’t enjoy their subs years ago. I tried them again yesterday, but only had my opinion confirmed. I STILL do not like them. We must have been one of the first customers yesterday around 11:00 a.m. Due to it’s downtown office tower location, it may be closed or otherwise have very slow business over the weekend. I’m guessing the buns used for our Monday sandwiches were leftovers from Friday. They were so dry that they crumbled when bitten. I believe in order to compensate for the dried out bun that we should never have been served, Subway literally doused the Turkey sub in sauce…all that caused was a soppy, soggy middle. GAK! Insult to injury. Both dry AND disgusting at the same time!I didn’t even eat a third of it and threw away the rest – and I really don’t throw food away often. It was not fit for consumption. At $5 each, it was still a bad deal.The Spicy Italian sub was only marginally better..but I would not consider going back for more. Compared to the other sub sandwich places nearby and in town, this was a very poor example of what’s available.
