Price of a bowl of the noodle soup inthe bankers hall location has increased twice this year already. $10 is a bowl. Sometimes the soup tastes very salty. Like the previous reviewer said, the quality of food was much higher when this location was operated by the previous owner. Not only that, today at noon, while standing in line, I saw the current owner picked upsome noodles (dry) with beek brisket that had been spilled out on the counter back into the bowland put it back on the counter to be served to the customers. Gross and nasty! Will never go there again

Amazing beef stew soup! Always the biggest line at lunch (Bankers Hall Location) Monday to Friday which means this place is great! Get there early on rain/cold days as you will be waiting 20-30 minutes if you get there are 12 noon. Prices have gone up and are $9.50 now but still worth it. The only downfall about this soup is the cheap plastic spoons they give you. The group of us are hardcore and bring our own spoons!

Their beef brisket noodles is amazing. If you’re looking for some decent beef noodles, go to Sukiyaki. This is located in Bankers Hall’s food court. It tastes very similar to Chef Hung noodles (if you’re from Asia or West Coast you would know what this is ) and it’s a high standard of broth and noodles. hermoderncanvas.com

Good value for what you pay. Whenever I head downtown, Sukiyaki is one of my favourite places to hit up for a bite to eat.Let’s face facts, Sukiyaki is ‘fast food’, so I’m not expecting gourmet style or anything like that, but for mall food, it is ok.We came here on Boxing Day, decided to fuel up before doing some extensive Boxing Day shopping. We both ordered the sukiyaki beef, usually if it is to stay they heap the food on a plate, but that particular day, they used the ubiquitous styrofoam box.It came loaded with rice, veggies (cabbage, broccoli, carrots), and a generous helping of beef. I usually like my meal drowing in teriyaki sauce, so I requested to 2 scoops – unlike Edo, Sukiyaki uses the huge sized ladle for the sauce.Overall, approximately $7.50-8, it isn’t bad, you do receive alot of food for what you pay and it was very filling. As long as you have an expectation that it is mall food, you’ll be alright.

What happened to previous owner?. I noticed the previous owner of this place sold Sukiyaki, along with Tiki Ming beside it about 1/2 yr ago. And ever since then, the quality has degraded substantially while prices inflate. Does anyone know where the previous owner of this store went? If they openned another store elsewhere in downtown? Their cooking was 10x better!

1/5 – I will use my credit card or debit card if I want to!. This review is for the Bankers Hall location. What a difference a place can be even though another location is just a block away and it is a franchise. I don’t recommend the Bankers Hall location. The beef stew soup here DOESN’T even compare to the Sukiyaki in TD/The Core. It lacked a lot of taste and it’s even more expensive. The guy that takes my order annoys me as well. He’ll always say stuff like ‘this time I will take your card but have cash next time’. I know what’s going on with this place. LOL.

My addiction!!!!. I stumbled upon this place when I use to work in Bankers Hall. I am a noodle soup person all the way. I asked for beef noodle soup and I got beef brisket. It was simply delicious. Soup is nice and hot, beef is very tender, and with some hot sauce it became the perfect lunch. If I wasn’t out eating this was what I had, everyday. Now I no longer work in Bankers Hall but I do purposely go to Bankers Hall just so that I can have my beef brisket noodle soup fix 🙂
