Don’t get me wrong, Verona pizza isn’t a classy Neapolitan pizza joint, but if you want a huge, generously-topped, greasy slice of pizza that’s tasty enough to justify the self-loathing, you’d better get a piece of Verona’s all-meat pizza. Verona pizza is probably my favourite bad-good pizza place.

Best Pizza. I remember the days when the father owned a resturant under the same name in the N.W. that we frequented all the time and then he retired the business and that was a long time ago. One day last year in downtown where I work and wanting pizza I happened upon this place in Bow Valley Square and low and behold it was them. The son and daughter now running both locations the other one in the Lancaster Building.The pizza is very good with lots of topping and favour and brought back the good memories how good this is. The other food items look good as well. I go at least once a week so don’t miss out on this place for pizza.
My favorite pizza place in downtown. We always get catering from Verona Pizza at work and I’m happy with it every time. Thick, soft crust with an abundance of toppings… especially cheese! It is a bit greasy but not gross. Line-ups at lunch (at the Stephen Ave location too!) can be quite long so you know they’re popular! followmyfoodtrail.wordpress.com
