Unfortunately it leaves much to be desired. Even when not packed with people its slow to receive drinks and food. The waitress really tried her best but I dont know what was happening, I got a water after I had finished my meal. The pulled pork sandwich was pretty tasty with a good flavour. The house salad is just odd, the dressing was very sweet.
We had lunch at Melrose the other day and it was absolutely fantastic. My burger was the one of the best that I ever had. My service was so friendly and heart warming. Five thumbs up Highly recommended.
Really crowded, but the thin crust pizza was pretty damn good. I’d come here again, perhaps when it’s not busy and packed up to the rim. Try something else on the menu.
This was my first time visiting Melrose downtown and I would rate it a solid OK.The service was good given it was packed! Beer was perfectly fine. The food was just okay. We had the wings and a regular poutine. The wings were pretty soggy but the sauce was tasty. The poutine however was very salty. The brown gravy was not very good. I would likely just get the plain fries next time. I will probably be back for a beer but won’t likely order food again.
Our server let me know that the garden burger I was about to order is 100% cross contaminated. She also indicated to me that all the food is cross contaminated and therefore if you are a vegan/vegetarian and expecting your garden burger to be free of meat juice – forget it.
Came in for a quick bite before going to the christmas market. Food was what you expect at a pub type setting. Wasn’t spectacular but wasn’t disappointing either. Food came out relatively quickly consider it was a Friday night. There was lots of seating which was nice.
I Love This Place. I Miss you guys….17th Ave forever!!!
