Really nice space! Ive always walked by but never tempted to give this place a try. Came here for a birthday of 30 people. VERY disappointed in service. There were only two servers that seem so frazzled. If this was national two servers could take care of 30 people easily!! Drinks took on average 40 minutes to come. When we wanted to order food the response was one sec which turned into another 40 minute wait. My dinner plate had leftover food crusted on it. Food was decent for what it was and thats saying a lot since we were starving by the time it was 9:30. To top it all off we were all charged an auto gratuity of 18%. I dont mind tipping if we received good service but for 18% and almost NO service (we even had to grab our own menus) , that really discouraged people from coming back.

Ordered the messi burger with fries. The fries were a bit salty but still good. The burger looks amazing! But after eating about half the burger, I felt like I didn’t really want to eat the rest. Service was average. I do like the atmosphere of the restaurant though.

We were going to go to a pub after work but I walked by this place and it smelled amazing so we changed our plans. Gour.mand had been here before but had only ever had one dish so we decided to get a few tapas items. We ordered patatas bravas, tomato bread, steak & frites and fried cheese. The patatas bravas was quite different than any other we had had both her and in Spain. But every patatas bravas is unique. I particularly liked the squishiness of the potatos and the fried egg on top. The tomato bread was to die for! The bread was fried and the manchego cheese on top made it absolute perfect. I would go back and order 10 of them and eat them all of I could. The manchego fried cheese was delicious but definitely eat it right away while the cheese is still melty. The breading is panko so it wasn’t heavy, juts nice and light. But it comes in threes so if there are two of you you might have to compromise. The steak was delicious and tangy, we had to order it medium but normally we would order rare. But even at medium it was lovely. The fries were okay. They were fries but the hubby wasn’t feeling them. Our sever was very nice and brought us churros for dessert. I wasn’t overly a fan of the homemade chocolate hazelnut (granted it was way better than Nutella) but the dolce de leche dip was great and the churros themselves were warm and sugary. A lovely end to the meal. I would recommend this place for a group or a date. Try the tomato bread. And after work it wasn’t busy at all. I hear it is a madhouse at lunch though. momnomnomsblog.wordpress.com
