I went here to try their burger. As they grind it onsite, they are allowed to cook it any way you want it including rare. The burger was good, but our waiter was terrible. I had barely sat down and he was asking first my drink order. I said to let me get my coat off and look at the wine menu. He then said to let him choose and if I did not like it, he would take it off my bill. I asked him a second time to let me settle in and look at the menu. He barely gave our table any attention and when it came time to pay, he gave the credit / debit machine to one of our group and abandoned us. We had to figure out his code and how to work the machine so each of us could pay. He only came back to the table 15-20 minutes later. Terrible service. Seems like he was only catering to the deep pocket business customers who were there on company expense accounts. The burger was good, but I’ve hesitated to go back due to the poor service.

Super overpriced… not worth it! 28 bucks for a Caesar salad! Way to price yourselves out of business… won’t be back..I can make a better salad at home!

Dynamite burger, one of the best in town, easily. Great whiskey bar, huge selection. Bit pricey but also a superb lunch date spot, you can’t go wrong.

Not a great experience to be completely honest. This restaurant was recommended to me by a acquaintance at work. I went with a friend of mine (also for the first time) and the food was pretty great, but the service was lacking greatly. I’m not sure what was happening that night (maybe it was shortstaffed), but we didn’t get a server or water for a good 15 minutes. Then the food took another 50 mins.I’ll come back another time to see if it was just an off night since the food was good, but wasn’t very impressed with the service.

First time I had a medium rare burger was from here – I have to say it was a very interesting texture, but it was very good. It is definitely on the pricier side, but I would say it’s worth it once in a while. Definitely come check it out if you’re in the area!

Went for the Big Taste and was pleasantly surprised. Servers were very friendly and even commented on my friend’s t-shirt. Had bruschetta in addition to the Big Taste Menu (we all had the bison and barley soup, two had the NY steak and one had the pork tenderloin). Bruschetta was amazing, worth every penny.Bison and barley soup was good, if not a bit lacking in bison chunks but what we had was very tender. The soup had lots of flavour, which is great!NY steak was cooked well, the medium was a bit tough, but I think that is personal preference. My boyfriend loved his! My friend enjoyed the pork (I had a bite and it was pretty good), but I’m not sure it was outstanding. The sides were decently sized, I loved the creamed spinach and the mac and cheese. The dessert trio was very tasty, particularly the caramel. Tiny, but nice to have a smaller dessert sometimes, and the quality was there. Will definitely come back, the gentleman who took our payment sold us on the Burger happy hour and whiskey Wednesdays 🙂 couchcritique.wordpress.com

Taking advantage of last couple days of Big Taste. Trying this restaurant for the first time and I enjoyed it. Started with the ahi tuna tostada which was seasoned nicely served on a crispy shell. Got the mussels as appetizer on top of the big taste menu and the broth was nice with nice amount of mussels and 2 garlic bread to soak the broth. The new York steak was cooked perfectly to my request of medium rare and the creamed spinach was good. The petite fleur desserts was also delicious. Good dinner over all and would return again.
