Have come here for a few birthdays we were invited to (otherwise we would not have come). The food is not good and the waitresses have a serious attitude problem. Do not waste your time or money here as all you’ll be is disappointed.
A bunch of muppets own and operate this location, so don’t expect much. Hundreds of better establishments than this in the city with classier owners / managers and better food and drink.
Nice decor. The menu selection has very little traditional selections. I ordered the fish and chips and was unfortunately not impressed. I probably won’t visit again.
Honestly, really bad service. I ordered Nachos to go and it took 25 mins to get them. The restaurant was not busy at all on Saturday night, I wonder why now. The worst part is no one was apologetic about it. I had to ask the person behind the bar (probably the manager)to check on my to go order, because I could not find my server later. I have worked in the same industry for the past 8 years and never experienced anything like this before. Will not go back ever again.
Worst service in Calgary. Ceili’s is directly across the street from the building I wor in. Ideally Ceili’s would have great service because of how convenient the location is. It can take up to half an hour to grt a drink at 3pm on random Tuesday, you have to order a new drink when your current one is still full in order for it to arrive when you’re ready to start a new one. The waitresses are not adept at handling tables of 6 or more, even when a reservation has been made days in advance. Additionally, our reservations have been ‘lost or they have no record of them’ multiple times. Since December we have been avoiding this place like the plague. Food is good but the terrible service just isn’t worth it.
Dont waste your money here. Walked in, waited for a server, waited some more, kept waiting after chatting with friends for half an hour without a waitress coming up to us, we decided to leave for another establishment a couple of blocks down. Here is the best part – the place wasn’t even busy and it was a weekday. The waitresses were all just too busy chatting among themselves.
Not sure what’s going on here, but there’s plenty of bars elsewhere.. Came here with some friends over the weekend. Received two different drink prices (apparently the servers and the bartenders have different views of how much something should cost). Tried to talk to a manager, was pointed at someone doing shots on the corner of the bar. Paid our tab and left. Don’t waste your time.
