Creepy Joint – Learn to smile and learn to not lie. Right from the moment I walked-in to the moment I left the place I saw the guys running the place have gloomy dispositions. No smiles, no hellos nothing, And this was also with a couple of other walk-ins who tried some small talk but were met with wide staring eyes and mono-syllables. So that’s OK, customer service is not everyone’s forte. And I usually don’t hold it against an establishment though I hate feeling that the seller acts like he is doing me a favor when pizza places are dime a dozen (or irrespective). In any case, if this is not all during billing when I asked for red chili flakes or other condiments he just said very dryly they was on the table – The usual shake jars.. No pouches nothing. They have on their menu that a dipping sauce is free with every pizza and 1$ otherwise. I was not offered the free sauce. I didn’t want it but I asked anyways since I felt it should have been offered. He said that will be a buck extra. HUH? READ YOUR OWN MENU dude. It is also illegal to advertise falsely. I don’t mind paying for what extra I want but if you advertise something be freaking aware of it. Then he acts like who put this in (on a pre-printed take away menu – huh?) – asking his helper around and grudgingly gave me two ranch packs. I didn’t use them as they were sour and trashed them as soon as I reached home. Also for home delivery they want to lie. So the billing guy told me min. is 20 USD when it states on their menu its USD 15; and even then he seemed reluctant when I asked him if he could deliver just two blocks down as I had some other work. Overall a stinky experience though the pizza is OK (nothing great, the 10 inch is kinda small and does feel overpriced fr the taste which is mediocre at best).
Not so bad pizza. This place is average for pizza, they lack customer service. Do place your order three a hour prior closing otherwise they are not interested in your business then. Seriously!!!Q: Why did the man go into the pizza business? A: He wanted to make some dough Well I hope that this is still truth for them.
Awesome thin crust pizza. I’m amazed at some of the negative comments on here. This is my fav. thin crust pizza out of downtown calgary and anyone i have introduced it to loves the place. If i want to go eat somewhere nice and have pizza i would chose una or other spots good for ‘dining’ but if you want great, fresh pizza for takeout and to support a local business instead of some huge, chain producing greasy slop they like to call pizza (dominoes, pizza hut etc) then you gotta try this spot.I understand the frustration over delivery time, i had a bad experience here once but never since and also the problem is solved by picking up if you can. The chicken pizza they have is delicious! Also the 5 cheese one is incredible, not stacked high in toppings like others but very flavorful.
The worst. Their pizza is ok but that was the worst service ever. I ordered one pizza for delivery and guess what… It came an hour and 15 minutes later. I got told 45 min. so first I’m angry and then I asked to play with cash and the guy says he has none. He had a 20 on him. so i ran back to my apartment and my fiancee said to me he told someone on the phone that I was trying to pay with a $100 bill when I’m trying to pay or a $30 pizza with an 50. On top of all that the pizza was not even hot! It was warm. Next time, I’ll get pizza hut. And btw, he said the the traffic was bad. I’m on 15 ave and 7th st sw .. they are on 4 ave and 8 st sw. NOT IMPRESSED.
Great Pizza!!!. There pizza is hands down the best pizza in town! i guarantee anyone who tries it will be satisfied. they have a monday-friday deal which includes 2 slices and 1 pop for $7.80 which is pretty good judging by the quality of the food and all the toppings that are on each slice. i persoanlly love flavour me pizza and will be going back soon 🙂
Great Pizza. Went here for the first time ever to grab a couple of slices at lunch. The special is two slices (generously sized) and a can of pop for $7.90. Not a bad deal considering the quality of the food. The crust was just right, cooked through with a slight crunch, the toppings were fresh and delicious, and both slices had a nice layer of cheese that brought it all together. The kitchen area and prep station are clean and well-stocked. The service was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I will be going back again for lunch, no question.
This place looks kind of shady… but actually has pretty good pizza! Not the cheapest… but it’s really good and worth it every once in a while.
