I ordered delivery from skipthedishes here last Sunday for me and my nephews. Worst burger I have every had the meat was burned like charcoal and the fries where soggy. We couldn’t eat the meals I had to cook something else for the kids.I am not sure if maybe the cook was having a bad day but I wouldn’t eat here again.
I found it a little expensive for two people but the food was really good. I love the fact that I can have a beef bacon burger here (which was really well seasoned and not salty or greasy). This is definitely in the top 10 burger joints in the city.
I’ve eaten here a few times. I like their burgers, but wish they had better buns to go with them. The sweet potato fries are good, but they told me they are frozen as opposed to their regular fries service is always friendly.
Has decent burgers. My order has been messed up each time I’ve gone here. The girl working today was especially grumpy and made me feel silly for being celiac. The beef tasted good but I paid for mushrooms as well and didn’t get them. Overall was a disappointing experience.
Awesome burgers. Make sure to stop by for a quick bite if in Kensington!They have a lot of variety in terms of toppings and burgers available. The yam fries are some of the best I have ever had in YYC. The spicy, smoky mayo they have is AMAZING- make sure to get some extra to dip your burger in ;)The actual patties themselves are a tad on the dry side, and could have been seasoned a touch more, and the bun they use would have been much better with an egg bun like Smashburger.Overall, however, good service, good vibe, and good eats!!
We accidentally ‘stumbled’ into Flipp’n Burgers in Mission for takeout a few days after moving to Calgary. I was impressed with the menu, particularly with vegetarian and vegan options. The food was so good we’ve been back several times, and I’ve even devoured the beef burger, oops! SO. GOOD. The burgers aren’t greasy like other burger joints, the staff are friendly and awesome, and the fact they have sauerkraut on the menu makes me love this place even more. These burgers are fresh and great quality, which makes cheating on your health kick a little less guilty! ;D If you’ve seen the episode of How I Met Your Mother where Marshall goes looking for the best burger, well… try this place out, it’s definitely a Marshall burger experience. We’re fans and will be back for sure.
