I would say this is a average Korean restaurant the best part is that they open late. Food is pricey for the portion you get, ordered the bulgogi soup and it came with very little meat, was also expecting side dishes like all other Korean restaurants but they didn’t provide any. Their service was fast, food was made quick. Soup was very flavourful.
The portions are quite large and the food was pretty average, and even though there were some dishes on the menu that aren’t normally served in other restaurants in Calgary, they were also lacking in others. Not a bad place to stop by for some Korean food but it can be pricey compared to other places.
The food was descent. The pork rice was good but the seafood pancake was a disappointment as it wasnt crispy. However, the atmosphere was comfy.
The food here was mediocre at best. The seafood noodle soup barely had any seafood in it, in fact it was 90% noodles. The broth was neither spicy nor flavourful and it was also very oily. The bibimbap also lacked flavour and we were not given any accompaniments. The service was fine and the ambience was also fine and the prices at this establishment are decent. However, I will not be returning.
Stopped in this past Monday for lunch with a friend. Ordered the jampong (spicy seafood soup) and bibimbap (rice bowl). Both portions were quite large and we were unable to finish all the noodles/rice. Not sure if it was because I had high expectations after reading the other reviews but we found the flavors to be just average.
This place is awesome ! A Japanese Korean fusion. The food is great and so are the prices ! (Beer is a little pricey and they only have Japanese beer not Korean beer) we came with 6 people and ordered: appetizer shrimp, 2 beef bulgogi, gamjateng hot pot, steamed pork (came with a sweet sauce cabbage, fresh jalapeo and garlic to eat with it) and Chili cheese chicken. We all got rice, kimchi and salad as well. It was delicious. Lots of free parking around as well (street parking after 6pm) – it’s also right on the train line which is convenient too!
Came here for lunch and luckily came before the lunch rush started.Their menu has a good variety of Korean dishes and are reasonable priced. I had the fried mandu which was pretty standard. Also had the tonkatsu which came with two fried pork cutlets, rice, cabbage salad, pickled carrots and tonkatsu sauce. I really enjoyed the tonkatsu. It wasn’t tough or greasy at all. I found the portions size is good for the price. Can’t wait to come back to try their other dishes!
