An expensive treat!. This place is great for picking up a unique treat! It’s full of candy that you can usually only find out of the country. It has a huge selection. It would be a great place to go and pick up a little gift for a friend, etc. My only complaint is that it can be incredibly expensive!

Even more selection than the Richmond counterpart. We haven’t been to Kensington in a while, so we headed off to see what has changed since the last time we were there.Low and behold, the first thing we spotted was the caricature of Willy Wonka (portrayed by Gene Wilder) on the sidewalk, and then we noticed it was Gummi Boutique ! Could it be that the store is expanding ?Curiousity got the better of us so we went in, and noticed the same owner of Gummi (Richmond) here, and he recognized us right away. We chatted up and he told us this is his second store.I found the selection at Kensington better than the Richmond location, plus it is far brighter and roomier (due to the extra windows at the Kensington location). Overall though, Gummi carries many candies found only in the US (eg. Rocky Road), so I do like the vast selection. We picked up some goodies, like coconut M&M’s, and had a delightful time reminiscing on candies that we enjoyed in our childhood.Friendly staff and owner make Gummi a welcome place for candies/treats.
