It’s a cool place, with cool vibe. But I’d hardly call it ‘authentic’. The food is good–for a bar– but not exactly Brit. More like decent Canadian bar food. Wings and burgers. I’m not sure why it’s so hard to do, but this city needs a genuinely authentic Brit pub experience. I’m talking steak and kidney pie, fry up Friday, black pudding, eggs and chips, Sunday roasts. Oh and curry. Some of the best curries in England are in the pubs.
