When you look from the outside it doesn’t seem like much – but once you try the food, you’re in love! On nights when I’m working long hours, I place my order on Just Eat while I’m commuting home. When I pick up my order, it’s always hot and ready to go. The owners are amazing and their butter chicken is second to none! Don’t get me started on how much I love their coconut rice! If you haven’t been here – GO! It’s worth every penny!
Went here to have the buffet. It was all stale food and there were no desserts. It tasted like bland and looked like they have been using the same food for a week. The chicken smelled bad and everything on the buffet was stale. Told the server about it and he did not care about anything I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone at all
COLD WINTRY NIGHT, HUNGRY SO I DECIDED TO HAVE TAKE OUT. I DECIDED TO CALL THE FOLKS AT ROYAL GANESHA. Made my order, delivered on time and had to phone them to compliment the Chef on a job well done. I will not hesitate again when I want good food with good Indian spice to my liking.
Me & the wife stopped in hear one Saturday night for supper. There was no lineup & got a table right away its a small little restaurant but the decor was beautiful. Our waitress showed use to our table & gave us the run down on the menu & buffet. We ended up getting the buffet I tried the lentil soup & it was delicious nice flavor with a little heat loved it. Sad to say the rest of the dishes offered where pretty bland & one dish I bit into something very hard & thought i chipped my tooth. There a far better Indian restaurants in Calgary.
Awful. The delivery a couple of times. I feel like these guys have no idea what their food is supposed to taste like.
I went there in March for the first time and fell in love with the place and food. The ambience is fantastic, whether on a date or with family/friends. The food is delicious and most importantly the service is wonderful. One of the best Indian restaurants in Calgary. Since March, I have been there five times already. I have had Paneer butter masala, Hyderabadi biryani, hara bhara kabab, veg manchurian, okra masala, gol gappa and garlic naan and can assure you that you can not get better Indian food than here in entire Calgary. Definitely worth a try…
Royal Ganesha – 507, 10th St. SW, Calgary, AB.. Just got home from eating at this cool restaurant. What a wonderful experience! Friendly, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. The food smelled wonderful, was full of flavour and could be ordered according to whatever level of spice was desired. My friend and I had the Butter Chicken, Gobhi Aloo (potato and cauliflower cooked with Indian spices) along with garlic nan bread. Outstanding, satisfying tastes! A lovely parting gift (elephant figurine) was given to both of us, for luck and prosperity, as we departed. We will definitely be back to try out other dishes as well as their lunch buffet. I highly recommend the Royal Ganesha! KB
