Midnight on a Saturday night, standing outside in the chilly air waiting to get into the club. The guy at the door is checking everyone’s ID even if you’re 38 and don’t anything like a 18 year old (but thanks for the compliment?) Get inside the club and the bar is empty, so why the line? Right away its obvious that the crowd is 50% straight and 75% women (which you can tell are straight women) This is a gay club right? apparently not. The drinks were made with the cheapest liquor and watered down, and were not appropriately priced. The DJ was beyond horrible. The algorithm for the items DJ can do a better job of putting together a mix. the dance floor remained mostly empty the whole time. The go go dancer in the cage was out of shape and somewhat shameful. The only eye candy in the joint was the busser who had his shirt of and that bin raised above his head, I hope they pay that boy well, he was the only one int he joint that seemed to be working. The bar staff was friendly, but this was the worst night club experience I’ve ever had. This is a city of over a million people in which there is one gay club, one gay lounge and this is the best we can do? I would have had more fun at a straight bar and probable had more luck with the boys. time to call the time of death and let this one close!
