Terrible service + higher prices = lower quality. I live equal distance to this location and the one on Elbow Dr @ Heritage Dr. Even location on fairmount dr is relatively close. This location is the last choice of these three locations. Their sizes are smaller. We normally will get buster bars and this weekend my wife got them from this location. The were definitely shorter, less peanuts and fudge and the ice cream (soft serve) was a different texture and tasted watered down.To get more bang for my buck I go to the Elbow Dr @ Heritage Dr location.
Went here for a treat. My husband and I were out shopping and decided to stop for a mini blizzard on the way home. First, the prices at this dairy queen are way higher then any other dairy queen I’ve been to. The mini blizzard was a full $1 higher than other locations and despite having an almost empty restaurant and seven people working in the back it took FOREVER to get our ice cream. While we were waiting I looked at the menu board… $10 for a BLT? At dairy queen? Seriously?We were the only customers when we came in (3-4 people were sitting in the dining area eating) and it still took almost 15 minutes for us to get our ice cream. Our mini blizzards were finally put up on the ledge ready to be delivered and… they sat there… and sat there… and sat there. The boy making the burgers looked at the ice cream, looked at us, looked at the ice cream, then sat on the counter. The girl who took our original order looked at her till (nobody there) looked at our ice cream, looked at us, looked at our ice cream then walked off to use the bathroom. FINALLY someone seemed to notice we were STILL WAITING and pointed to the now half melted mini blizzards and asked if they were ours.We won’t be back. DQ as a franchise rarely has good service (honestly if it wasn’t for the blizzard I would never go) but this one is a particularly sad specimen.
