I find Five Guys to be one of the ‘best in class’ for fast food burgers and fries. They do what they do VERY well, the burgers are fresh and delicious and fries are perfection. I’ve been to plenty of casual restaurants that can’t execute a burger this well. Note: Five Guys has a mystery shopper twice a week at every location to ensure quality and service are being maintained at all times – these guys are committed!
Went into a store not long ago- overheard the district manager – he seems a nasty piece if work- I wonder how he got hired by the head office. Also repelled by the ‘hand crafted’ food thought- visions of hot sweaty hands pounding into the meat with all the germs added.Went elsewhere.
The burgers are better than average, and high quality, but you can do as well or better at a limited number of chains, but mostly that gets down to personal preference. I personally prefer Harvey’s but I still enjoyed my burger here. Lots of good toppings to choose from. The fries are made the way fries are meant to be although just chucking them into the bag makes for a less than elegant meal. The fountain drinks weren’t watered down and didn’t taste ‘off’ like most chain restaurants. The free peanuts are a nice touch and the diner vibe works. All in all, you won’t go wrong.
The Cajun fries are amazing – I only wish they had some gravy to go along with them – the Burgers are really fresh and taste really good – the small is more than enough !
Five guys has amazing burgers, and exquisite fries. They make your food out in the open and has a very classic diner atmosphere. Also, free peanuts!
I didn’t love the burgers here as much as I thought I would after reading all the positive reviews. I’ll admit that the patties taste better than your McDonald’s patties, but I don’t think they’re anything special.
I enjoyed this burger joint. Definitely more than McDonalds but the flavour was good and the complimentary peanuts were perfect to kill time with the family. All in all I was satisfied with the price versus the quality. I will be going back in the future!
