The Pho (Beef ball and rare beef) was satisfactory with it being standard, but not super unique or memorable. The Pho Sate was the same. I actually didn’t like that one, but my lady did. The environment was clean and tidy, spacious. I think advise to the establishment would be to make sure the staff is a little livelier (try to upsell! ) and also maybe update the look and feel of the menus and inside signage. Absolute worst Pho in Calgary, no hello the waitress just pointed her finger and made us sit in a row. Another family came in and asked to sit on the other side she said no. Food can quickly but wasn’t worth even $3. The shrimp wontons were tiny and burnt and tasted like a mixture of meat not even shrimp. The pho was bland and meat was tiny. The sprouts looked slimy and reused over and over and the mint was spotted and withered. I’m surprised they passed a food inspection. Went to pay the guy said the total I gave a $100 bill then he starts whispering in Vietnamese, gave my cash and no thank you nothing. The worst service in Calgary will never ever come back here.
I find that their appys are expensive and their spring rolls are too oily and very tiny, the price is too much for what you get. 1 order comes with 3 small rolls for $7 same with their salad rolls, they were bland and shrimp tasted like freezer burn. Staff are not friendly either, when paying with card they check right away if you left a tip. Customer service is just not there for this place.
The food arrived fast. Too fast, because after tasting it, it was obviously pre-prepared well in advance. It was warmish, not hot and unappetizing. No one ever came by to check in at us and when we went to pay, we weren’t even asked how the meal was. I will never return. I downloaded this app today just so I could warn others about this place. It’s like they weren’t even trying.
The service was extremely fast; we were sitting and served within 10 minutes (since we didn’t take that long deciding what we wanted). The food was not bad, average Vietnamese food that can be found anywhere in Calgary, but it’s still a nice little place with cute themed decor with portions are also reasonable for their prices.
Went for lunch and ordered a vermicelli noodle bowl. Next to nothing for veggies and meat just a big bowl of noodles. Service was certainly terrible. Price was comparable to other Pho restaurants so I think I will pass. Yucky!!
Mediocre food, okay service. Soup’s thin, portion’s small, meat’s missing Quick fix for vietnamese craving since there is none other than this place.
