We ordered from the walk-up window and I was surprised at how long the food took to order. But once we got two burgers, one order of fries and a milkshake we were not impressed. The fries were both soggy and undercooked – still crunchy and tasted like raw potato. The milkshake was NOT a milkshake…it was stirred flavoured milk. Same consistency as milk! Easily the worst milkshake I have ever had. The burger was okay, but not anything extraordinarily special. Would not recommend or return.
Very disappointed. We’re quickly helped by the waitress and then almost ignored (we were the only table). My husband is severely allergic to an ingredient and said so. When our lukewarm meal arrived, his sandwich had the ingredient that could kill him. We didn’t see our waitress for over 10 minutes to ask her for a new sandwich. Even the bartender couldn’t find her (she was in the mall). New sandwich was ordered and after 15 minutes, we left without it. Again, as the only table, with an easy order, we expected far better service from both the waitress and kitchen. Plus note, burger was very good but was lukewarm by the time it arrived at our table. Fries were way to salty and over cooked. Will never return here.

One time the beef burger was not fresh and had clearly been reheated. The next time the chicken burger was very bad. Again not fresh and simply no flavor. Plus the last time the fries were not cooked right through. The ambiance is also a sketchy with the stale beer smell. I have had no complaints about the service.
I really like the atmosphere present here. I stopped here after working out at the YMCA in Eau Clair. I am looking for that perfect Mushroom Burger. I chose a Mozzarella Guacamole Burger instead. I really wasn’t expecting to pay these prices for a burger. But, I guess times have changed. I really enjoyed the burger, a 8/10 on my scale. The Garage is a great place to visit and hangout. Great place to watch sports.
Came here on a social night, so it was a good venue in the sense that it had a wide open area with mixed seating and pool tables and ping pong tables…however no specials or happy hour on a weeknight??? Also, for $18 nachos I expect more than 1 ounce of salsa…plus they charge you $1.50 for another tiny container.
Good lunchtime service with prompt delivery of our drinks. However, Fish and chips were terrible. This fish was like cracking into an extremely over-cooked piece of badder. To the point that chips and pieces of it were everywhere. Once inside, there was hardly any actual fish and my guess is that it’s frozen pre-made.I’ll definitely be back, but to try something else from the menu.
Probably the worst service I have had. No’ it’s actually the worst. I can’t comment on the food because I was never shown a menu. Been to this place twice to play pool never once was I approached by a server. It is probably the worst place I have been to in Calgary, so much so that I really had to write my first review. Please avoid if you can.
