Came here for date night! Food was hot, fast, and delicious. The service was excellent – friendly, courteous and on-point. I mentioned a food allergy – the manager came by in person to discuss. At the end, couldn’t believe how reasonable the price was. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend!
Service was terrible. We had visitors from the US and after a walk, downtown decided to stop at this location because we know the excellent service offered at the newer NE location. WHAT a big mistake! The waiter kept missing our table. It was obvious they were short staff, and the ones that were working could care less about making sure if they taking your order or not. It took them 35 minutes to take our order. Will never return.
I’ve been here on two occasions : 31st Dec 2016 and 11th June 2017.Both visits have been disappointing and the service is terrible. The location is great and the restaurant is never too busy.I ordered the same entree both times , the ribs. The first time it was too saucy and the second time my ribs were just bones and had no meat.The bread is great but so far we have found hair in the butter on both visits.The minestrone soup is nothing but a warm salty broth and the salad looked pretty bad.As for the appetizers, the first time we got the mussels which were great and the second time we got the bam bam shrimp which was disappointing. There was hardly any shrimp and it was all breading.The ice cream scoop is tiny and on the first visit the server never got me mine even though I asked her for it twice.The cheesecake is decent but too dense.For our second visit our server was Kyle and when we asked him to get us some bread he forgot, we reminded him again and then he pretended like it was our third serving of bread. He also did not apologize for the hair in the butter and overall ignored us. He was paying a lot more attention to another table that was seated before us. They were a family of 4 and so were we.The cutlery placed at the table was dirty and he said it was his fault but no apology.The service here is terrible and the food mediocre.There is better places nearby and the Old Spaghetti Factory in Banff is much better.
