Worst chinese cuisine ever had. Chow Mein dry and stale. Salt and pepper squid was just batter. Ginger beef so old and hard, I broke the fork.
Worst stir fry I’ve ever had…bland, tasteless and grissly chicken…so gross. Ordered the pineapple chicken…ugghh…This is the first and last time I’m ever eating here!! The chicken (if that’s that you call it) was gross..stringy,, grissly, fatty and so gross. The veggies were tasteless. Never coming back. What a waste of $10.
Marginal at best. Hard fried rice, old salt and pepper squid. The scezhwan chicken was okay. Cash only is always annoying. Don’t bother.
Best chow mein in Calgary! I’ve looked everywhere for chow mein like I used to get in my home town and this is the only place I’ve found it. BBQ pork & lemon chicken are also very good. It’s one of my favorite places to eat. They now accept debit too.
Very vey low quantity,
Tiki Ming Downtown. I recently aquired a position downtown and my friend recommended I go try out the Tiki Ming in this building and I will always go back when I am craving some Western Chinese food!!!. I go back probably once every 2 weeks MINIMUM!. Ginger beef and the squid there was really good the times I ordered it. Portions are nothing to complain about and if you want a little extra food, you can always ask and they won’t charge me!!!. A must try for those working in downtown area, craving some western chinese food.
Always a favourite stop for lunch. I work near this location and find myself craving the food ALL the time. I wouldn’t call it authentic Chinese cuisine, but more so American Chinese (or Canadian Chinese, if there’s such a thing haha, but you know what I mean). There are different options for mixing and matching the many dishes that are offered (as there usually are with any Chinese fast food places). The ginger beef is not bad here, it’s not the best but it’s not the worst. I find that sometimes when they rush with it, it’s not completely coated, but it’ll do. I’m a fan of the crispy shrimp myself (shrimp coated in a batter and deep fried). The batter is not too thick, it’s fried properly and it’s not greasy. The ladies at this location are very pleasant and friendly. They’ve gotten to know me since I’m a regular and even realize when I haven’t been there for awhile. I think that’s very sweet and it makes me feel welcome. If you’re in the downtown core on a weekday for lunch, I would recommend dropping by Tiki Ming to try it out.
