Very average. Nice decor, but very desultory service – seemed like they didn’t want to be there and did only the bare minimum with no offer of water, no asking how our food was and several tables left with dirty plates after people left. The restaurant is clean for now, because it is new, but we wonder what it will be like in a few months. We had the chicken salad rolls which were acceptable, but not as good as some other places. We also had Singapore Noodles (#62) and the Chicken Crispy Chow Mein (63b). We often have these dishes at other vietnamese restaurants so have a good frame of reference. The Singapore Noodles were lacking the depth of flavor we enjoy elsewhere, and the Chow Mein was very disappointing. It didn’t have any broccoli or cauliflower – just red and green pepper, carrots and onion. The noodles did not absorb the sauce at all, so were rather dry and tasteless and the sauce itself had a vinegary overtone that was not pleasant. Tien Tuyen around the corner on Elwood Drive is dramatically better.
