Amazing decor. Probably the best interior that I've seen in a Filipino restaurant. Service is good. Food is not bad. I think the best time to try this…

I could have paid for an airline ticket to the Philippines with the money I spent!…ok, not really but it’s expensive here. One of my favourite Filipino dishes is Kare Kare so I thought I’d give it a go here. Well, it was a mistake. This dish cost $18 and I got a total of six cubes of beef, perhaps the size of half a chicken nugget from McDonalds. I also ordered Bichol Express, another favourite of mine but was left disappointed. $13 is what the dish cost and I literally got ten tiny little pieces of pork and a bunch of spicy soupy pink sauce. So now that I’ve made it clear that the food is expensive I’ll now move onto the taste. Overall it was edible but not what I expected with having to pay those prices. Don’t get me wrong though, I have no issues paying more if the portion size was equal to what I was paying. The dining experience was a bust for me and I’ll probably never come here again but at least their staff was nice and they tried their best.
Friendly and amazing service. We went for the Saturday buffet, reasonably priced and great Filipino food!! Will definitely return! 🙂
EXCITEMENT TURNED INTO DISAPPOINTMENT. So I brought my Canadian friend to Filipino food, to make it short1. BULALO taste really salty, obviously its made of Beef Broth Cubes, the bone marrow waa frozen, like eating oil2. CRISPY PATA is overcooked, like im eating crispy chips3. LIEMPO tasted good but not tenderThe only thing he like was the rice. Sad but true
We were so disappointed with this restaurant! We ordered kare-kare and pork sisig and I must say they’re the worst we have tasted. The kare-kare didn’t taste like one at all, too oily and fatty too! Same goes with the sisig. The owner’s hospitality didn’t compensate for our disappointment. Our food was served after almost an hour, considering that there were only three sets of customers that time. I also think that their dishes are overpriced. I am definitely not going back. Wasted money, tsk.
Good Restaurant. Our family ate there for lunch. We ate 3 different dishes. All done well. The rice was not mushy. I was glad none of our food was greasy. The staff worked together to serve our food faster. The chef and two of the owners talked to us make sure we enjoyed our experience. The restaurant was well decorated with a motif, art and different cultural dance items. We look forward to returning to this wonderful restaurant!
Unhappy Customer. I ordered a popular filipino food from this restaurant since I invited some friends over but was shocked to see the food half done, it doesnt even have the spices that should be in it, so tasteless that we end up throwing it. Im a filipino and I know what the real taste of this menu. I called and complain but was not really happy of how the issue was handled, I give them the feedback so they could investigate and avoid the same issue in the future but it looks like they ignored it, I was not even offered a refund. I guess the management and staff should learn more of Customer Service principles. I will not order from this restaurant again.
Waited over 1 hour for cold food. Beware of the meat dishes. Staff was unhelpful. Best to stay away from this restaurant.
