The food was VERY tasty. I’ll admit I haven’t had a lot of Indian food but this is probably the best I have, or that I could remember anyways. Really like the rice and the butter chicken, had it at lunch as a special.Lady at the front wasn’t the kindest person in the world, but doesn’t deserve to be called bad. Just feels like she didn’t care that much about the customer.3.5/5
very good flavored marinated meats available. love their cooked food. Good customer service. order on phone or be ready for wait which i don’t mind as long as food is good.
Good spot for fresh chicken, goat etc. We stop by and usually get our butchered meats from here. We have taken some cooked food for takeout and its been great. The Fish pikoras are great, Afghan chicken, Tandoori Wings are VERY good. Overall… we like it and will continue to return.
Pathetic service and food. Staff here at edmonton store has no training on how to serve customers.I ordered chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, fish pakora and afghani chicken after waiting for 25 mins i didn’t get my fish pakora so I decided to go and grab samosas from punjab sweets while they prepare my fish pakora I went yo Punjab swwets ordered samosa and came back and asked about my order a lady standing at the counter went inside came back out started serving other customers and never replied me.After waiting for almost 45-50 mins when she came from the back and handed a box of fish pakora to other customer who came in after me then I intervened and said i am waiting before him so she again went back inside to the kitchen to confirm my truthness that I am there for a long time.Anyways I got my stuff went back home and was missing a packet of chicken tikka .i went to their shop and they started arguing that we have given you the packet of chicken tikka as if I am lieng and they were arguing on the point that I was not waiting for 45 mins i was only waiting for 35 not 45 so stupid people out there.Anyways i came back without chicken tikka and the food was pathetic in taste .Chicken was not fresh it was hard ,spicy tandoori chicken has no spice on it.I wont recommend this place to anybody .Pathetic service pathetic food.
I have had many of the marinaded meats and they are always fantastic. The paneer pakoras are hunks of paneer with a little spicy sauce in the middle coated in a chickpea batter and deep fried then served with spicy sauce, tamarind chutney, and ranch dressing. What more could you ask for? The folks who work there are very nice and helpful. Not super cheap but worth every penny. I took some of the boneless tandoori chicken to my sister after she had her baby and she found it easy to cook and her family really liked it. Score!
Great food. I really loved the variety of marinated meats. I tried the tandoori and lemon chicken and it was absolutely amazing. Will definitely come back to this place. The seekh kebab and fish pakora is tasty aswell.
Go there only if you are prepared for surprises. You will be surprised if you check your bill, rates advetised may be from a cheap location in Toronto, obviously by mistake. No value in arguing. Even the food you get could be below quality -something must not be served in edmonton, rotting meat and veggies thawed many times. Go there only if you have time to such a review.
