I do not normally write a review unless the place was awesome, but this place was awful, went there at 8:00pm on Sunday night, the waiter had the personality of a stick, he took a long time to get our order, when the soupfinallycame it was not what I was expecting, then finally the meal came, I had a toasted clubhouse with acaesar salad, the salad tasted rotten, and looked like it made from scraps with a little bit ofparmesan cheese sprinkled on top, good thing there was so little of it. The toasted clubhouse had twopiecesof bread toasted while the third was not, may have been one slice of bacon in the entire sandwich,couldn’tfind the turkeyand the tomato was about to go bad. My partner’s salad was as it was put disgusting. Worst restaurant I have eaten in a long time in Edmonton. Waited for our billuntilwefinally just said screw it and went to the front to pay.They are however very generous with charging, the meal with one beer and an ice tea came to 53.00 and of course you have to tip- maybe the waiter was new I don’t know, left him a good tip anyway,not deserved. but I also paid the bill ,which also was not deserved. NEVER going back to this place, and suggest you pass on it also.
Never been to a White Spot before. Selection was good, service was awesome and food was superb for the price. A good family eatery or great for a date night. Hoping one day more open up as the closest is 3 hrs away.
Prompt service, courteous staff, delectable dishes! Chicken pot pie was piping hot with a golden, flakey top. Comfort food for the cold part of the season! Come eat at the White Spot if you’re staying at any of the hotels in this area.
the service was excellent, our server Michelle was the best. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. If that had been my first trip to a White Spot I would never try another one. Had to sen my potatoes back two times because they were cold. I would have sent my burger back as well, it was luke warm , but I ate part of it because I was hungry, Perhaps you should send your kitchen staff over to the White Spot in Leduc to get a refresher course.
Being from BC – White Spot is a favorite! I am told that this location has been open for a few years, however, we just discovered it last weekend. We always thought that we had to go to Leduc to enjoy the White Spot since the location on Calgary Trail closed years ago. Guess not!We went for a quick breakfast. My husband had the Eggs Benedict and I tried the Cheesesteak Hash: Roast beef sauted with vegetables, Mozzarella & Jack cheese & our signature smashbrown potatoes topped with two poached eggs & hollandaise sauce served with toast.It was pretty good. Poor service/poor food quality. Started off with couldn’t get seating right, 4 adults 1 child they seated us for 3 adults one childService was slow and it wasn’t busy. My breakfast arrived, toast wasn’t toasted, bacon n sausage well under cooked. Horrible that they would serve it…
Grumpy breakfast waitress. Was here on business last week, staying at the 4pts and was here for breakfast a few mornings. The food was passable, but the service was seriously lacking. The waitress accused us of trying to dine and dash one morning – we left everything on the table for her. Maybe you should pay more attention to your tables so they don’t have to walk out after not seeing you for 15m after being given the bill? I tried to get us to go somewhere else the second day, but we had some late wake-ers and ended up coming back. Still neglectful service, but again, at least the food is ok.
