I went there today to celebrate Father’s Day with my toddler daughter as we’ve come here the previous two years. There was a short wait to get seated which was not bad considering it was Father’s Day. Everything was slow and our waiter didn’t come by very often. My daughter was restless and the coffee was cold by the time our food came which was about a half hour after first ordering and my meal came about 5 further minutes after my daughter’s which was dropped off with the extra sausages I ordered for us. The sausages were cold so I asked our waiter to take them back and reheat them. He did take them but I never saw them again. I ordered white toast but got whole grain with almost no butter on each slice of any. My coffee never got topped up after we got our meals. On the upside, my meal which was the cheesesteak hash was very good and my daughter enjoyed her pancakes. I did note that we weren’t the only ones enduring this. I saw another waiter constantly apologizing to his tables so maybe they were short staffed or there were issues with the kitchen. When the bill came the waiter mentioned a discount applied. I did notice that the sausages I ordered and sent back to get reheated but never saw again were on the bill so I mentioned that. The waiter disappeared and then a manager showed up and apologized and admitted it was a bad Father’s Day experience to be had and she ended up writing off the entire bill which would have been about $30. So it was a bad experience on a special day but the restaurant did acknowledge this and redeemed themselves by paying for the meal. Good on them for making things right. I give this experience a 2.5 out of 5. Usually they are better.

If he gets fired i will never ever come back to this white spot. For a matter of fact I am going there tonight and will be strongly disappointed and change my rate to 1 if he is not my waiter. Thank you.
