I’ve always been a big fan of Koryo and this location offers the same as the other locations I’ve been to. Was there on a weekend and the line went fast. Ordered a bbq chicken combo (substituted the bone in chicken for a chicken breast) with garlic potatoes and green beans (two scoops of rice also come with the combo. My wife ordered the bbq chicken salad. The garlic potatoes were delicious as usual, crispy and sweet. The green beans weren’t as appetizing as they have been in past (but it was a healthier option) – will likely choose their bean sprouts instead. The chicken breast was perfectly grilled and while I didn’t get any of their bbq sauce this time – it is definitely a treat that goes great with the chicken and rice. It’s basically what bbq sauce mixed with mayonnaise would taste like. My wife’s bbq chicken salad with a decent portion, chicken was the same as mine and her salad was mixed greens with a vinaigrette that was citrusy tasting – smelled of orange juice. Overall a great option when looking for a change of the usual food court fare.

Best Food Court Meal!. Is it fast food? Is it traditional Korean food? Maybe yes, maybe no, but it is fast, fresh and delicious!I like both locations- Southgate and WEM. Personal favourite is the combo with both chicken and beef, sometimes it comes with a drink, other times it doesn’t (still a good deal and lots of food). The sides are tasty and unusual, glass noodles, baked (?) egg and most of all, garlic potatoes (fried taters in a tangy spicy garlicky sauce). Also their special BBQ sauce is rich, creamy and out of this world! All in all, a great addition to any food court.
What? This is fast food? No way, it tastes better than Korean food at a restaurant in Edmonton!. The Korean ribs with sugar glazed potatoes and see-through potato noodles thingy… absolutely amazing for the portion and quality you get for the price you pay for.’Nuff said.
Love the flavour of there sauce
D-lish barbi. This place dominates it’s food court neighbors. North Korean cuisine blows the competition away!!!!!!
Food court food? AMAZING! This is head and shoulders above anything else in a mall.
