I love my friends mom’s empanda so when I saw myempandas I was hoping it’s that homemade goodness. It’s really kinda a dive . and I tried the beef and seafood. My first thought was that was burnt. My second thought was these ain’t my mommas empanda. I will give another try in store. It’s a pick up and delivery place. You can even eat in as they have a few tables. If I go back I’ll stick to beef. If I go back that is….
I tried three kinds: philly steak, cheese and onion, and seafood. The philly steak was good, but could have been much better. Quite frankly, I’m not a fan of the chewy (and un-chewable) parts of meat. The seafood was a surprise because it actually had a good amount of seafood AND I could actually TASTE the seafood. It was really good. But my favorite was the onion and cheese: it was stuffed wonderfully, baked perfectly, and the onion and cheese tastes were prominent. That being said, each piece is almost $3, so would I come here on the days where I am really starving? Probably not. But if I want a little snack, I’d make sure to pass by.
