It’s a decent Filipino restaurant. I enjoy the food here. The only downside is you have to have the patience to wait for your orders because it will take a while before they get to your table. A while means loooong! The staff is polite, but I do hope they would improve more on their service.

We were told it would take about 45 minutes before we would be able to place an order due to a private party they were hosting. Why bother keeping the restaurant open to the public when you are going to make them wait and let them walk out?

The food is bland. The ambiance is gothic.

This place is not good at all. Sure you should expect a lot for the price, but they could at least put some flavor in the food and serve it hot. The health inspector should probably check out their holding temperatures because all items tasted were only luke warm. The food was greasy and despite them bringing food from the back every so often, it was pretty clear that it had been sitting around in the back.

Terrible. Let me honest and start this review by stating that I have no experience or knowledge of Filipino food. I do however like food from across the world and do know good tasting, fresh food when I see it. The food at Palabok House was terrible, some of it even inedible. The Chicken Pork Abodo was okay, but the Pancit Palabok tasted rubbery and the sauce was so thick and pasty it was disgusting. The worst though was the Pinkabet, it was so bitter it was truly was inedible. I still shudder just remembering the taste of that dish. It is definitely not worth trying even for the most adventurous foodie.
