Yesterday (May 4, 2016) I went to have a quick dinner at Southgate Mall Thai Express. This place has been one of my favourite places. We often have food from Thai Express. I took a Pad Thai and my wife ordered a General Thai. While eating at the food court, my wife found a piece of metal in her food. It looked like a piece of stapler pin. She went to show the piece of metal to the lady at the Thai Express counter. The lady called an older lady, who was probably the manager of the store. My wife explained her concern to the manager. To our surprise, the manager did not apologize or showed any concern about this serious health issue. Without any word she just handed over $9 to my wife and left the counter. I personally thought it was very rude.I believe a refund does not ensure that the manager or the store actually took the matter seriously. I will definitely avoid Thai Express from now on and will spread the word among my friends and family so that they avoid this place for health concern. I have sent this feedback to the Thai Express authority also.

Was served bad shrimp in my Tom Yum and when I asked for a refund the lady threw the money across the counter and short paid me because I had taken a bite of the spring roll. Awful service and not sanitary.

Hi I just want to share whit the people out there, that the next time that youGo and order something you better check ur order, because I order a Tom yum beef soup ( to go ) and when I got home and take out the soup from the bag it was no beef at all in my soup and I was the only guy on the line waiting.
This is the most disgusting place I’ve been in a long time! I don’t even know where to begin! I asked for a glass of water and was given a glass and told to use the sink in the food court, the same sink in which they wash trays in! Then because there was a language barrier, they screwed up my order twice and i didn’t order anything out of the ordinary! Then they proceeded to argue as they didn’t want to remake it! They were incredibly rude as well! If you can, I would suggest eating somewhere else! Not worth your time and energy and especially your money! I hope people read this and stop going there! I’m an immigrant too so i am sympathetic but there comes a time where people just need to learn a bit of English! These 3 workers need to take a course in manners as well, especially the girl who works the cash!
Pad Thai and fried rice here always tastes good here. Do not order the curry or pad sew, they are both too salty.
