Came here for the first time and enjoyed a delicious lunch! Started with the appetizer platter which consisted of deep fried shrimp, spring rolls and salad rolls. For mains we ordered sate beef and sate seafood pho – so good! The sate is super tasty and spicy, not oily or thick. One of best pho sate flavors Ive had. The owners mom makes the sate herself! A really good serving of noodles in the pho considering there is only one size on the menu. Generous portion of meat/seafood, and the beef isnt stringy or fatty. Definitely will come again when in the area.
I live in a condo nearby and I have been to this place multiple times. Last few times I was there (3 years ago?), the service just got worse and worse (kept thinking the Miserable Woman Server was just having a bad day) and I vowed never to go back. Was so hungry tonight and decided to try it out again (maybe it’s improved?) – always thought the food was decent. Nope, same Miserable Woman Server answered the phone with her usual rudeness.How this person can be in customer service, I don’t know. Can she please be fired or something? Or can the owner at least recognize that this woman is really bad for business..? Or maybe pay her more so she’s a little more happy? Give her a spending account for a massage every once in a while so she can wind down and relax? I don’t know, but I give up on this place. I recommend spending your hard earned money elsewhere.
It was 8:00pm on my way to home. I saw this restaurant and got in to ordered a roll. When I was going to pay my order, the casher seamed really unhappy probably I only ordered one item for to go. Food was’t that good. Probably won’t come again.
Our server was a lady and was really rude. She looked angry the whole time. Food there was okay, a lot of better Vietnamese place out there.
I love this place. Great beef salad rolls! Great pho satay! Come after working hours and you’re guaranteed a table immediately. Will definitely come back.
Invited by a colleague for lunch; unfriendly server; food quality poor; place is dirty – the woman’s washroom hadn’t been cleaned for a long while and is piled high with stuff. I wish I had visited the WR first as I would have suggested to my host that we go somewhere else. Refer to Alberta Health Services.ca/health-inspections website.
This was the worst meal I’ve ever had. I had number 38. Meat was so gross and dry. Seemed old. Spring rolls and salad rolls were disgusting.
