Came here with friends during Big Taste. It wasn’t very busy at all, even for a weekend evening. The best part of the whole set menu were the ribs(juicy and tender) but they were the appetizer, and then the salmon entree was disappointing. Service was prompt and attentive, but could see this being an issue if it was any busier. bighairandhighheels.com
We held a large burlesque show after party in the private room a few weeks ago. It was a huge success because this place is absolutely amazing in every way! With the fantastic service, the delicious food, the tasty drinks, and the beautiful decor, this place is great!I’d recommend this place for any-sized get-together; the bar area is large enough to for even big groups. The private room is just as large as the main bar area too. Lots of chairs and tables.The staff were all very good, and super-awesome to talk to. They did seem like they may have been short-staffed (they were running around all night) but the service didn’t suffer at all. The food was incredibly delicious too! The flatbread was so good (very flavourful), and the fried pickles were to die for!Do yourself a favour and stop by for a meal or book your event here; it’s one of the very best bars I’ve ever been to.

Update:Food is still awesome, drinks are still fresh, and the service is pretty good. Excellent stop before a flames game as they know how to get you in and out in time for puck drop! I have been here a few times and found the food to be much better than expected. The small batch burger was a bit saltier than I would like, but otherwise probably one of the best in town.Beer on tap is always fresh (which is pretty rare in Calgary) and the atmosphere is nice/clean.
Dec 2016- Came here with my coworker a couple of days ago and I was not impressed. Service was quite slow, I was looking for the shrimp flatbed since it sounded yummy. When it came the dough was a weird texture and I only ate the shrimps off of it and ate the sides of the crusts which was the only thing that was crispy. I discarded the rest. My friend said she liked the soup and the fish tacos. She said one of the fish in the tacos was a bit overcooked. The waitress saw my plate and asked me how it was and I said it was ok. Luckily they deleted my meal off the bill. Glad they did that but I don’t think I will be returning again. Feb 13, 2017- There was quite a lot of ppl there before the Flames game. This is the 2nd time I have been there. First time was terrible! Didn’t think I would be back but since we were pressed for time and wanted to grab something to eat before the game we went there. Second time around it was better. The burger was juicy and I liked the fries.
Came last night for the Grand Opening, had the Miso Salmon which was delicious, and the service was great! Stayed to dance to the DJ late into the night. Came back for brunch this morning, and the frittata with a side of Kale salad was delicious!!
