Man this is the best coffee in Calgary and the best service. Should be open 7 days a week! For a coffee snob u guys sure please me! I have had no better coffee in Calgary than any of these branches!
FAIL. Great facility and location. Bad service / bitter coffee / very bad food. A $ 10 sandwich which is cold and so hard it can’t be eaten because it has been premade and refrigerated ? Seriously ? With all the nearby food and coffee options, this is what you offer ? Make some serious changes or you will lose the money you sunk into a great location and building.
Fratello means.. The best Coffe in Calgary, actually it’s like really Italian type. The staff is amazing.
Latte. This is the first time Ive ever had anything from here and Hubby recommended I try the latte. Absolutely delicious! Perfect balance of espresso and milk. It was so rich and creamy.
Good coffee. But what is up with the staff. Something is seriously wrong with them. Not a good company image at all.
Worth the wait!. Fratello Analog Cafe is the first retail venture for Fratello Coffee Roasters, and my gosh it was worth waiting for. Fratello is, along with Phil & Sebastian and Edmonton’s Transcend, the pinnacle of coffee roasters in Alberta and among the best in Canada and they’ve been supplying beans to some of Calgary’s best third-wave shops (Beano, Crema, Insomnia) for years. They’ve finally opened their own cafe and it’s at the new Calgary Farmer’s Market near Heritage and Blackfoot. For those of you- and I used to be very much among you- mourning the loss of Phil & Sebastian at the new CFM, mourn not. P&S are stil very much around, with cafes in Marda Loop and at Chinook Centre. As well and more important is the fact that Analog fills their big shoes superbly. They have a beautiful combo of state-of-the-art equipment, with TWO three-group slayer espresso machines, as well as charmingly old-fashioned but still incredibly intelligent brewed coffee options in the form of two six-station pourover bars for the freshest brewed coffee conceivable. I got a traditional cappuccino and it was heaven in a cup. Took home a bag of their peerless Costa Rican Tarrazu beans (the same ones as were used for my cappo) and can’t wait to crack the bag open. The whole new CFM is a delight and it’s great to see Fratello as part of it!
