Stopped by for lunch. This whole food court at the farmers market was packed with school kids. So we shopped for a while until it quieted down. Sandwiched had some great looking menu items. We went with a portobello mushroom burger and the hot chick sandwich. The burger was interesting and the fried chicken was amazing! With so many choices available at the farmers market it’s often hard to decide but this was a win!
When I watch the food network, I always feel sorry that nothing in Calgary comes close to the delicious sandwiches I see on that network. What a pleasant surprise to find a place where every sandwich on the menu is absolutely delicious! North American restaurants are too generic, too homogeneous and too franchise, so it’s so refreshing to find a place that feels like it’s run by someone who loves food, instead of someone who just wants to make money.And the service is like every other place. Ignore the previous person.
