I was there earlier today and ordered two burgers and an order of fries. I saw the cashier handle cash and then my food afterwards. Needless to say, I got a refund. Never again will I go back to this place.
One of the Best Burgers in Calgary. First off – I have been a cook for many years. I have made and eaten thousands of burgers as well as trying burgers all around town.I have eaten Silver Sage burger on numerous occasions, and have always found them perfectly cooked, flavorful, beautifully presented works of culinary art. Fresh beef, fresh buns, fresh toppings, all cooked to order. The taste of the beef is unreal – you must try it for yourself.Thank you Silver Sage for doing what you do.
Why serve hormone free beef burgers with processed cheese? Also the meatball sub was soggy and gross. Very disappointed, overpriced, don’t bother.
Nice yummy grilled burger taste and excellent service! Good job on a fast food made special by introducing better quality meats!
Where’s the flavor?. I got the mushroom burger with cheese, and my boyfriend got the bacon cheese burger, both medium size, and a large fries to share. They cook the burgers to order on the grill, but the my extra toppings, the mushrooms and carmalized onions are pre-cooked and sitting in water or oil in a warming bin. They were added to my at the end, dripping wet and flavorless. The fries were ready before the burgers by a few a minutes, and sat in closed styrofoam take out container while our burgers finished. We hadn’t realized this till someone grabbed them when the burgers were done. They were getting mushy by the time we got them. The burgers themselves were way underseasoned, the buns were fresh but nothing special. I thought the best part was the fresh lettuce and tomato. My boyfriend said he would of rather gone to wendy’s. There are way better choices at the farmer’s market. Don’t waste your money here.
Small on portion big on price. Wife and I had a Silver Sage Burger while at the Calgary Farmers Market this afternoon. We both thought the beef was dry, the patties were small, and overall, the burgers just didn’t have enough flavor. We agreed that it would be our first and last Silver Sage Burger. For over $10 with fries, we thought it wasn’t worth the price.
What a dissapointment. 9 bucks for two tiny dry patties, one piece of bacon cut in half, two small store bought onuon rings and a piece of lettuce with what tastes like kraft bbq sauce. Not even cheese let alone fries are included! Complete waste of money. I should have went to the real bbq place in the market. Wont be returning
