The size of the value combo is outrageous! For $7, I received half a spoon of corn and bourbon chicken. They should change the name to ‘snack size’ combo.
Rebadged chinese food. We headed to Chinook on a Sat. morning to do some shopping, and eventually our stomachs told us that it was nearing lunch time.I decided on Bourbon St Grill, I passed by this place many times when we’re at Chinook but I’ve never stopped by and ordered anything, so today was as good as any other.I ordered their one choice meal, it came with rice or noodles, veggies, and your choice of protein.I picked the noodles, the veggies consisted of items like broccoli, carrots, … and my protein was rainbow shrimp. On a side note, when someone says ‘Bourbon Street’, my thoughts conjure up images of some place in the French Quarter in New Orleans, when it comes to food items like po boy or deep fried anything pops into my mind. This Bourbon St has none of that. The noodles were good, but it resembled noodles you can get at Manchu Wok (without the chinese taste). The veggies were run of the mill, and the rainbow shrimp was deep fried shrimp in batter with a very slight cajun seasoning. Was it satisfying ? Yes, it did fulfill the hunger pangs. However, it is nothing close to New Orleans food, but simply rebadged chinese food.
Love the food. But really bad service. If you can look past that, then its a wonderful food experience.
Worst Customer Service. This place has the worst customer service. You tell them they are getting your order wrong and they ya i know and never change it! I find the older woman very rude. We had four orders from them today and not a single one was right and ignored the fact I was telling them they were wrong!
They really have a bad customer service. They shout at customers and doesn’t even know how to smile. They are angry with the customers.
Not good! Aside from the fact that there was a sharp bone attached to a piece of chicken, my stomach just didn’t agree with the food. Won’t ever eat at Bourbon Street again.
Keeps getting better!. I was in the mall the other day, and I realized I hadn’t ate here in a very long time! So I decided to stop in, and I am so glad I did! Since the last time I was here, they seemed to do some minor adjustments! The place itself seemed cleaner and more organized and the jambalaya seemed better by far! My portion size was huge and I love the bourbon chicken and home fries here!
