This location is the best out of the two in the city. Not only is the restaurant renovated and modern, it is very clean and you actually get service – friendly, attentive service! The food is consistently delicious, always love their biscuits, and i enjoy the different feasts they feature seasonally. My favorite is the lobster lover feast! This time i tried the endless shrimp promotion. This location never disappoints and i will be back. Dont bother with the Marlborough location at all if you want to fully enjoy an expensive meal out.
Seriously unimpressed, sorry to say. The best part of my meal was the biscuits, which my husband found unpleasantly salty. The lemonade was at the best lemony water. The salad – plain garden with commercial Thousand Island dressing was okay. We split the stuffed mushrooms; not thrilling or very tasty at all; in fact, somewhat greasy and not tasting of much. Both serious seafood/lobster fans, we both had the lobster lovers feast. The lobster was fine, though not hot but warm. The pasta sauce had nearly no taste at all, and we both gave up on it. It too was warm, not hot. The service was pleasant and knowledgeable, but we will not be back.
Is red lobster the best? Not really. Is it a little pricey? Yes…One good thing about Red lobster is, you can actually see where your money went to on your plate. Which for me compensates for the price. I leave full and satisfied every time. Keep your expectations low and enjoy the free biscuits. Also look into going when the seasonal promotions are on. (All you can eat shrimp, lobster fest etc)
