High price poor quality. The steaks used to be good and resonable priced. Now I could eat at the Keg a much better steak for the same price. Do not use coupon for lasagna it will be 90 percent noodle and sauce with hardly any meat. Ate there for the last time after going there for over a decade. High prices and poor quality more often then not.
Worst food EVER. Went there for dinner….SERVICE SUCKED…..food was horrible…and cold….and expensive…wouldn’t recommend to anyone
Former long time customer. Fish and chips. I’ve been a customer for years until they decided to put garbage in with my food. I threw it in the garbage where it belongs. Hot worth eating.
Pizza was burnt and undercooked
Used to be hubby’s favorite. It was my first time there, and hubby had raved about it. We decided to go since we didn’t have our little guy. The pizza crust was crumbly, like it was made from a dough mix, barely any cheese or meat. Ripoff for $22I got Mediterranean shrimp, but the topping was soggy instead of crisp. I was supposed to get 10 jumbo shrimp but only got 6, another ripoff for $15. We were the only people in there yet the server was rushing us to order, even though we wanted to relax with beer first. When asking the server what came with the entrees she had no idea (guessing a new server, but wasn’t trained properly on the menu.) Was not a good first impression. We won’t go back.
I requested delivery, they estimated 45 minutes to 1 hour, after about 1 1/2 hours I called back the lady apologized and said my order will be out shortly. 45 minutes later I called again the lady told me it was on the way. After 2 1/2 hours waiting for my supper I got fed up and called back again. Turns out they forgot about my order! I will never use this service again. I ordered from Gallianos pub and had my dinner within 15 minutes of course by this time it was 9:00. I do not recommend dover for delivery at all.
Going Downhill. I find Dover used to be a good deal until they jacked up their prices. I find their steaks now to be hit or miss. When its good its good when its bad its bad.The lasagna is always good unless you use a coupon and inform them in advance, because then it seems like your lasagna contains a lot less meat so they can save and its not even worth using the coupon. The service is pretty poor most of the time as well. I see they are hiring a new cook now though so hopefully things get better.
